Manifesto of the Collaborative Society: Civilizational Shift or Self-Destruction

The development of humanity is determined by two factors: Human Reason and the Laws of Social Evolution. The dialectic of these factors is quite straightforward. Human Reason generates knowledge and drives countless small changes. At a certain stage, the accumulation of these quantitative changes leads to qualitative shifts that can be defined as civilizational. Thus, in the spiritual realm, several epochs are defined - polytheism, monotheism, and secular or civil society. In the material sphere, these transitions manifest as shifts from slavery to feudalism and then to capitalism. In the realm of governance, we witness the transition from autocracy to democracy. Hence, Reason shapes History, while the objective factors form the Spiral of Social Evolution. Therefore, a civilizational shift signifies a transformation in thinking, or a New Paradigm, which in turn alters social consciousness, the economy, and the form of government.

The exponential advancement of science and technology after World War II transformed society into a complex system. There are only two self-organizing and rational complex systems in nature - the human brain and society. Today, neither the scientific community nor the ruling elite fully comprehends the principles of the organization and the mechanisms governing these systems. Consequently, it is still not widely understood that the problems of the 21st century are not merely geopolitical but profoundly civilizational. Society is often viewed through the lens of conflicting ideologies vying for hegemony or a multipolar model. This struggle is often labeled as geopolitics and is rooted in existing paradigms. The complexity of our world necessitates a civilizational shift that is determined by the Laws of Social Evolution. The survival of humanity hinges not solely on transitioning to a multipolar model that perpetuates opposition, but on a shift in social consciousness or the emergence of social self-awareness. The question is whether social self-awareness can remove money from politics, or whether super-rich dilettantes will endanger humanity with their ignorance, greed, and hypocrisy. If humanity perseveres, social self-awareness will introduce a New Paradigm for the development of society and a new Social Contract. The market economy will transition into a Collaborative one, and democracy will evolve into a collabocracy. This future society can aptly be described as Collaborative.
