WE are manatee enthusiasts and I purchased this book as a gift for my husband. He really enjoyed it, as did I.

An Excellent Resource about Manatees

This book is a great resource for those who want to know and understand manatees. It has great information on manatee history and their habits. It contains good photos showing a variety of behaviors. The chapter depicting a ficionalized year in the life of a manatee is a great way to teach while telling an engaging story. Great discussion on conservation issues. Very good for adults and young adults doing research.
