Have you ever delayed or played games with promoting your subordinates when they earned the promotion(s)? If you had, then you're corrupt. Have you made sure only your children and associates' children have the opportunity to attend better schools? If you had, then you're corrupt. Have you arranged to place your children and close associates on the throne of your empire after your tenure in office? If you did, then you're corrupt. Have you hated another person for the heck of it? If you had, then you're corrupt. Have you blamed someone else for all your troubles? If you had, then you're corrupt.
Are you self-sufficient, living beyond your means, and have your own water system (borehole), your own electricity (diesel or ordinary generator), and your own moderately safe environment (gated community) when the rest of the citizens don't have any of them? If you are, then you're corrupt. Have you ignored others who woke up and slept under constant fear of robbers and kidnappers while you were protected by armed guards? If you had, then you're corrupt. Have you traveled anywhere with bodyguard(s) and roads cleared ahead of you, while the rest of the citizens will have to wait for thou, the almighty, to pass? If you had, then you're corrupt.

Have you ever paid less than the market value to a poor little child selling plantains or fresh corn on the side of the road because they don't know any better? If you had, then you're corrupt. Have you ever driven around and seen dilapidated schools with unqualified teachers educating the less-than-whole citizens, and you didn't do anything because your children will never attend such schools? If you had, then you're corrupt. Have you ever been dishonest, lied, manipulated, undermined others, and cheated as much as you could? If you had, then you're corrupt.
