Accompany our modern-day Frankenstein's monster as he contemplates his sense of self and searches for his Creator. Through the satirical and unsettling origin stories of his individual body parts, we learn what makes a man and in doing so we look into a mirror at the meaning of our own existence.
Each of the body part chapters is an individual short story; sometimes dark, sometimes funny, sometimes with an unexpected twist. The nose comes from a French sommelier held hostage by an admiring fan. The heart from a kind young woman, jilted in love. The lungs from a champion free-diver, the hands from a talented magician. These parts are collated to form the ultimate Man. Yet the creation struggles to find his sense of meaning and is dragged towards his inevitable downfall at the hands of a sensationalist media, a modern-day baying mob.
