Bobo Davenport was a down-on-his-luck coach when he arrived at Edmonson County High School in August 1975. In his 25-year career, none of Bobo's teams had ever made it to the Kentucky state tournament. His new team, the Edmonson County Wildcats, had never before advanced to the state tournament either.
