"You must believe me when I tell you that the words written in this book will leap from its pages straight into your heart and change your life forever..."
This is the captivating promise Jorge Becerra offers in his groundbreaking novel, "Maluco is Dead."
Deep inside a maximum-security prison in southern Brazil, Jorge arrived, widely known as Maluco-a nickname that captured his essence precisely. Indeed, his story reveals him as a true madman: unpredictable, reckless, utterly maluco.
Shamefully abandoned by his family, seemingly without father or mother, Jorge learned to survive in the hidden, gritty corners of a society consumed by drugs and violence.
Riding his iconic 1982 Honda 750 Custom, he fled from every threat imaginable-enemy gangs, relentless police pursuit, and even from God himself. Yet, Maluco could never resist a new challenge. Perhaps that was why he sank deeper into darkness. And perhaps, for precisely that reason, a small spark of hope could ignite his path.
Can someone as elusive as Maluco ever truly escape from God?
The story presented in this novel masterfully navigates between the harsh realities of the physical world and profound supernatural interventions-moments that touch hearts and transform lives, enabling readers to glimpse life through the very eyes of God.
