Jan Bryant Quinn was the original for this title!!

I just want to let the people whom are writing reviews stating that Jane Quinn is a copycat really need to learn the facts before they post a comment. Jane Quinn wrote Making the Most of Your Money in 1991 and the revised addition was made in 1997. Therefor that means that Jane Quinn wrote and used the title for her book four years before Ray Linder in 1995. So if anyone is the copycat it would by Mr. Linder. Next time get the facts so the reviews are accurate before you post and simply read inside the jacket of Quinn's book to see the year it was first published (not the revised date). As for the contents of the books both are well laid out but Quinn's book to me has more sound specific advice. It ALWAYS takes hard work, discipline and research with some time to make money. If you think it is easy and fast you are just kidding yourself and will be disappointed.
About Quinn's copied version

Quinn did write a book in 1991 called Everyone's Money Book and she wrote Making The Most of Your Money in 1997. Linder's book came out earlier. In any case Quinn's book is mostly fluff and outdated.
Don't confuse this with the other author

There is another author (JBQ) who copied this title in a book that came out in 1997. While that book is much larger, it contains far less useful information. As is usually the case, the origininal (this one by Linder) is the better one and unlike that other author, Linder does have a financial background that goes beyond just being a writer.And...at least Linder is innovative enough to create a unique title for his books, not just copy someone elses.Cheers to Linder for a great book.Jeers to JBQ for being a lousy imitator (but credit should be given for at least copying someone worth copying)
A Must read, if you can still get a copy

Making the Most of Your Money by Ray Linder (not to be confused with the fluffy copycat version by Quinn) is an outstanding book on personal finance. This book covers everything you need to know about personal finance. The fact that Jane Bryant Quinn copied the title should tell you something about the merits of this great book.If you can still get a copy, by all means do. And Mr. Linder, if you are listening, how about a newer updated version for 2004? I also recommend What Will I do With My Money: How Your Personality Affects Your Financial Behavior also by Ray Linder.
