Your loved one has been diagnosed with cancer, what do you do? In this book by a tumor surgeon, you'll discover that... When caring for those with cancer, your love must come from beyond yourself Your love must come from Jesus Learning how to give Christ Jesus' love to others is the purpose of life. Never, never, never ever give up Giving Christ's love to others as if it were your last measure of devotion will be a glorious display of His love; it will influence others towards His holiness and saving grace Fantastic As I read through the pages of this book I thought how many times people that I know who have friends or family with cancer could have benefited from reading it. Thank you Dr. Pitcher, this book is a much needed guide for those Making the Assist. Pastor Kevin Gerald Covenant Celebration Church Tacoma, WA None of us ever look forward to hearing the dreaded word "cancer" when it comes to our physical condition or to someone we love. God will use the things that has happened in our lives to help us relate and to minister to others. This book has been used greatly by God to do just that! Thank You, Dr. Pitcher, for sharing your life with us! My father died with cancer several years ago. I would have loved it, if I had this book back then. But even years later, as I read "MAKING THE ASSIST" waves of encouragment filled my soul. Make sure you tell everyone about this book, because they will be blessed just by reading it! Rev. I wish I would have written it

If I could have put into words what Dr Pitcher has done, I'd have to give up medicine and write full time. I can't wait for the next book!

I lost my mother to breast cancer a year ago...I flew back to my home country Armenia to take care of her for 2 months. Metastasis spread to her brain- she was going through incredible suffering and we were experiencing it even more as care givers. I wish I had at that time Dr. Pitchers book. It would definitely helped me during that trial. It is a great book. I highly recommend to read it not only to cancer care givers or patients, but also to general public and professionals as well. It will have its very positive impact to reconsider certain values in life and understand Gods divine plan for each of us to live worthy life. Thank you Dr. Pitcher Karine Galoian, PhD

It is a useful handbook, not only for cancer patients, but also for immediate family who are looking for answers and trying to cope with the changes brought about in the physical and emotional state of the cancer patient. I believe this book will be useful for any reader, for all the underlying positive messages, about living each day with a sense of purpose and about not giving up.

This book is an accurate and inspiring anecdotal summary of this surgeon's actions and attitudes towards his patients. His story will lead the reader to a closer understanding of God's guidance through the chapter in our lives called cancer.
