Excellent Book

Philosophy made simple. I am currently taking Dr. Lund's Intro to Philosophy course and his book has made it much much easier. He explains things so clearly it's amazing. It has opened my mind completely about Philosophy.

Amazing

David Lund's Making Sense of It All: An Introduction to Philosophical Inquiry is exquisitely well-written and easily understood. The book covers a broad range of philosophical topics and does not lunge into them to deeply, leaving the reader thirsty for more. Ontological questions, metaphysical questions, theistic questions, and more are all written in a way that will hopefully demand the reader (who should have an open mind) to begin to rationalize such questions in a new light. The shades of gray between the black and white is where this book will take you. As for previous reviews about the book being "terrible and not worth reading," and David Lund's course is even worse than the book, well, this person did not even try. The book is easily understood and yes, not for everyone. If questions of the sort interest anyone, this book is worth getting your hands on. A lot of ground is covered in a short length. As for the class being "worse than the book," how about you sit in the front. Take notes. Or listen. Or show up. If you hated it so much you should have withdrawn or dropped.
