Mia's Bayeux Tapestry Musings Collection is the first bundle of my otherwise free-standing Musings. This book contains Part 1 - Material, Colours & Equipment, Part 2 - Swinging the Needle and Part 3 - Transfers, Shapes & Features. In Part 1, I will tell you all about the material and equipment I use to make my Bayeux Tapestry replica. I will also discuss my wool colour choices for the embroidery. Part 2 is all about the sewing and embroidery involved in this project, from hemming and stitching the stretches of fabric together to the three kinds of embroidery I have discovered on the masterpiece. In Part 3, I'm sharing my techniques for transferring the pattern onto the fabric, but we will also be looking at some of the basic shapes that are very common on the Bayeux Tapestry. Finally, I will highlight the features I have become fond of while working on my project.
