We need more books like this.

In today's world we could all use a little laughter and Makeover for Murder definitely provided that. The author did a wonderful job of intertwining mystery with comedy leaving the killer literally a mystery until the very end. It was refreshing to see humour in things that usually raise blood pressure, like trying to deal with someone who takes their job too seriously, or the over-zealous, pretentious hostess. This book is riddled with everyday life situations with a comedic twist. My favorite part of the book was the scene where Kate Bundeen, the heroine, was trying to "pour herself" into spandex underwear. Just thinking about that description brings a smile back to my face.Makeover for Murder was an easy, enjoyable read and I can't wait to read her next book. In the meantime, I will enjoy this book again the next time I need a good laugh.
