So many things come in small boxes--mints, gum, jewelry--and now it's easy to turn those plain packages into cherished little keepsakes and gifts. No one will believe that it takes only minutes to "bake" a mini-birthday cake from three tiny tin boxes. Or say "Congratulations!" with a silk-covered ring box adorned with rhinestones, ribbon, and green woven leaf. There's even a special one for storing credit cards you want to leave safe at home. With embellishments ranging from crushed velvet to photographs, the expression "great things come in small packages" will take on a whole new meaning.
I can copy just about anything, but I would never be able to make these adorable boxes without the great ideas and instructions. I think they are the perfect addition to a gift card or cash which are such impersonal (but practical)gifts. These make the presentation so special. And the instructions have just the right amount of detail. I am one who loves and appreciates the art of crafting, but just don't have the time, talent or drive to create them myself so I am going to keep an eye out for these make-it-in-minutes books.

These little boxes add an extra personal touch to small gifts. They are cute and not hard to make. The instructions are easy to follow and the pictures help with ideas. I have bought the book for myself and as a gift.

Mini boxes are my new favorite hobby! I can't believe how easy they are to make and how fancy they turn out. This is a craft that's easy and inexpensive and great for gift-giving. The author couldn't make the project less straight forward.
