Maiolica in the North

By David R.M. Gaimster

This volume is taken from the first international colloquium on the subject of maiolica in sixteenth century England and the Low Countries, held in March 1997. The aim of this volume is to make available for the first time, the latest research in this rapidly developing field of study. These papers form the first systematic overview of the spread of the maiolica technology into northern Europe.
