Confidentiality: Know the law

An excellent reference on the confidentiality of library records. Patron confidentiality is an ongoing concern in the library community. This book answers many of the questions professionals and paraprofessionals need to know in regards to confidentiality of records. The book is broken into three easy to understand parts: Federal, State and sample policies. All three parts are well written and easy to understand. The section on State laws uses an easy to understand template and includes the text of each law. It is a book that every library should purchase for their collection.
