Maine and What it Means to Me

The inspiration for this poem (and eventual book), came from my love of being a true "Main-i-ac" and the thoughts of "returning home" someday. I believe that it was a blessing to have been born and raised in Maine. Being a kid in the 1970's and having Maine as your 'playground, was something special. It was a great time to grow up in the 70's & 80's and I'm glad I was able to experience that time of my life in Maine.
