Urshan visiting and telling exciting tales of his escape from the Turkish persecution in his native Iran to St. Peters burg. There he was led by God to the truth of baptism in Jesus Name and preached to thousands starting an organization that still is alive today with churches all over Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. Pastor Nathaniel A. Urshan led his church in Indianapolis to be come one of the largest in the Apostolic movement and later became the head of the largest Apostolic organizations with Churches all over the world. Pastor Urshans heard about the Siberian Russians who being persecuted for their Apostolic beliefs rushed into the U. S. Embassy to ask for asylum. They ended up living in the basement of the Embassy until Pastor Urshan led a team to Moscow to advocate for their release.Wachtstetter grew up with the plight of Russian Apostolics in persecution and when he became liaison for Apostolics to the White House and Congress he watched as President Reagan began to address the Evil Empire. Seeing the Siberians stuck in the U. S. Embassy he devised a plan to use the Pentecostals to push the communist to relent.
