I am Frank Mitchell and I am a survivor. When the earthquakes and tsunamis reshaped the United States and the rest of the world at the end of 2013, I rolled through. The resulting disappearance of the oil reserves causes gas prices to soar up to $10 a gallon in the United Continent of States. I serve the UCS in South America guarding science and business explorations looking for the new oil deposits. I come home to find a new type of pusher stealing and selling a product craved by the bulk of the population, gasoline. The speed of the planet's core changes, moving the magnetic field closer to the earth's surface. Man's ingenuity makes it possible to develop a highway where vehicles glide along at speeds as high as 300 MPH. The new America wants to use this development to revolutionize transportation throughout the world. Non collision rings, plastic magnets, plastic vehicle transports, and self-propelled cycles moving at rates higher than 50 MPH, set me on a collision course with destiny. In this new landscape peppered with perils at every turn, I find love. At least I think it is love. I want desperately for it to be love. I hope that it is love, because I am chasing after it even though it threatens to kill me.
