Good basic information, slight faults

Overall, this is a good book if you’re looking to clear out some clutter and make your house feel like new. The spells are good and do well to brighten the energy in your room. I do have some reservations - for example, she calls for white sage every so often, and calls it “essential”. Every ingredient is up to the individual witch and there is no ingredient you “need” to have. Also, white sage is endangered, so it’s more environmentally friendly to use normal sage, which has the same basic properties. She also advocates smudging, but that’s culturally appropriated from closed Native American culture and isn’t for the use of just anyone, so personally I would advise to stay away from that. There are many other options available to a witch for a smoke cleanse. My last criticism is that she says all are bound by the threefold rule, but only Wiccans are. Not every witch follows the same principles and everyone is free to practice as they wish. Other than that, I found the book to have a solid basis for a lot of energy work in the home, as well as offering practical advice in clearing your home of unwanted clutter. As with every other book on witchcraft, she offers a nice basis to build on, but as always, be careful to cross reference and not just accept her word as fact. If you have a little bit of background knowledge, everything in this can be built onto in order to make your craft and home feel like your own!
