Full of peril and perseverance

"Do you love this cute lil fella?" "Yes" "Do you promise to love him forever?" "Yes, one hundred percent." "They are now in mortal peril!" "NOOOOO" Thats the vibes I got from this book on the library shelf and I was very very correct. Its dark and messed up but full of heart and perseverance. There's barely any dialogue and it doesn't need it to convey the story. Great art. I cried when I finished it. I'm about to read it (and likely cry) again before I return the library copy.
