Agnieszka "Nikka" Nowak is 19 years old and a recent high school graduate. With hard work and focus, Nikka aims to get the hell out of New Jersey. She gets a job as a maid for a prestigious celebrity family. From the beginning, Nikka realizes that if she is going to convince the family to keep her on, she will need to endure a certain amount of high jinks brought on by the eldest son, Torn. Torn Whelan is a rich brat and bad boy who is going into his senior year at a private school, of course. To ease his boredom, he wants to play with the new hot housekeeper. That's okay because whatever game he wants to play, Nikka will contend. She wants a life worth living. The question is, will she survive? This is what I call a Bully-Lite story with some triggers and shenanigans. It is an Enemies to Lovers tale. There's a sneaky male main character who does not care if he crosses any lines. He is obsessive and sexy. Nikka needs to stay far away from him which is hard to do when she works in his home. There is sexual content/aggression and stalking.
