Although the plot moves rather quickly, I found this book rather enjoyable. I admired the way the author attempted to highlight the sometimes unwarrented suspicion towards individual people based on thier ethnicity. Although a fictional plot, I enjoyed the way the author incorporated true Macedonian history within it. However, I think that the quotations presented before every chapter directed towards the ethnicity of modern Macedonians would have been more effective if Aleksandar Donski's work was not exclusively used. All in all, I found it to be a good read.
