Everyone's life is unique and has a story. "Mac - - Life is an uncharted course" is a story of one young man's journey through life. Many readers will identify with the young man named Mac. Those who do will without a doubt reflect on their own journey through life and look back nostalgically and with a smile. At a young age, Mac experiences a tragedy that destroyed his family. When he and his mother are forced to find a new life, Mac adapts to the challenge. Until Mac graduates from high school, he is at the mercy of others to determine his life. On graduation night, Mac is looking forward to attending college with his girlfriend and escaping his home life. After the graduation party is over, Mac walks back early in the morning hours. When he opens the front door, he witnesses his stepfather beating his mother. Mac reacts and nearly kills his stepfather with his bare hands. Life takes an abrupt, new direction when the naive Mac buys an old car and heads east alone for some unknown destination. He finds adventures, danger, humor, good times and loneliness.
