Throughout her life, Toya uses her writing and speaking skills to inspire, and encourage others to accept differences. Toya uses a Christian novel format to support the spirit that God gave to her. She wants others to know they have the same spirit that may be lying dormant inside of them. Toya Gooden is a 2003 Graduate of Mid America Nazarene University in Olathe, Kansas. She holds a B. A. Degree in Communications with a minor in Journalism. Toya is a motivational speaker for Jackson County Family Court, where she speaks to troubled teens. Toya resides in Kansas City, Kansas.
