Ex surgeon and alcoholic; Dr. Daniel Solomon ("Dr. Dan") has gone from one unfortunate, life changing event to yet another. His family just moved from a prestigious home in Connecticut to the secluded town of Canisbourgh, New Hampshire. Actually a tribal bloodline of shape shifters. Though most remain peaceful; some of the inhabitants refuse to continue following their kind, ancient ways and show their superiority over Human kind.
