I do not read a lot of science fiction books, but this one was very entertaining. The characters are wonderful and you are right there with them throughout the story. The science fiction element was one that you dream is not out of the realm of possibility. It is a very fast read because it keeps you interested and you don't want to put it down. I highly recommend this book. His 2nd book in this series is even better.
This is a GREAT Book... Is there a book 2?

I found this book to be not only entertaining, but also very insightful. Although it is set to a science fiction back ground it stays well within the range of "believable" technology. It also bears a hint of esoteric knowledge that could only be written by an expert. This book reads quickly and leaves one with a sense of enlightenment. Highly recommended. 5 Stars!
