An enlightning tale...

This book is a very adventurous story of a young boy who travels during the Gold Rush Era. Though, he's not headed west (as of yet), he still finds lots of adventure.My son and I enjoyed reading this book together as part of our Westard Expansion study. Although it is fiction, the author puts in a lot of information you can expand upon.It is easy to read and dive into. Makes a great read aloud or a good book for an older elementary child.My son can't wait to read the next book in the series!
