Lucy Saves the Day

The restored Whalehead Club was first built by Edward Knight for his wife as a hunting club and it was called "Corolla Island". This is the story of the dog they brought to the Outer Banks of North Carolina, Lucy. She was a city dog who desperately wanted to be like the hunting dogs that grew up there. Her bright white color and loud bark did nothing to attract ducks when the Knights went hunting. She found a way to disguise herself but had to use the "Lucy" she truly was to be a hero.
