An Invaluable Resource . . .

This book is available in both eBook and hard copy versions, both of which cater to its respective user. I prefer the paperback version simply because it can be put on the shelf & be within reach for a quick reference when needed! 'Lucrative List Building' can provide enormous value to the reader . . . but only if an effort is made to follow the advice & suggestions. The book, I believe, is an excellent choice for individuals unfamiliar with internet marketing or marketing in general and for individuals who are 'building' their own websites to promote a product or service. Many individuals have websites but don't have a clue about what a 'squeeze page' or an opt-in form is. Glen clearly attempts to explain this & the importance of using this 'List Building' technique. In Chapter 5 - page 38, Glen explains what a 'squeeze page' is, how to 'squeeze' a visitor & with what, in order to 'capture' or acquire a potential customer's name and email address. What I've found to be true with many individuals that have learned how to master this, is that once they have subscribers - they don't know how to get them to become customers! However, Glen has not left out one of the more important parts of 'List Building' and that's explaining how to convert subscribers into eager paying customers . . . ! This is covered in Chapter 15 - page 77 "Trust Your Subscribers Like People and Show Them You Care". Glen explains how . . . by show & tell and by becoming an expert that cares. But I'd like to emphasize that even though many people profess that the 'Money is in the List', that's not entirely accurate. A subscriber that may have been painstakingly assembled could be full of 'tire kickers' and or 'freebie seekers' . . . so it's not how large of a list someone has, or even how small - it's the paying customer that is of importance in the list. The customer is the 'life' and 'breath' of your business, getting the customer to buy again, then again & again is what's most important in 'List Building'. Again, the author of 'Lucrative List Building' doesn't let us down. In Chapter 2 - page 20, Glen explains how having a responsive opt-in email list means that there will always be money in the bank. In other words, once a 'relationship' has been established with subscribers (potential customers) and the customers themselves, it'll always be there if the trust is not broken. With a targeted list of potential customers and those who have already purchased, it becomes a storehouse of revenue. Simply find out what people want and then give it to them! I haven't even scratched the surface, 'Lucrative List Building' is informative - from Chapter 1: "Success Begins In Your Mind, so Let's Start There" to Chapter 20: "Tying it all Together - The Grand Conclusion" - all simply explained throughout the 116 pages. Great resource for building your own online army

This is another of my favorite reference books specific to generating website traffic and repeat business. I've accumulated several books of generalized content that have helped me to put together a marketing campaign for my new business--this is one of them. Any book that gives me at least two bits of valuable advice (that I didn't possess prior to reading it) is well worth the price. If you want to get started selling ANYTHING through the internet, you need to know how to generate traffic and close a sale. This book will point you in the right direction. Glen Hopkins has produced the quintessential work on how to create a list and what to do with it. I was amazed how valuable the information is. Even if you think you know everything about building a list, Glen has some insider secrets to share that can open your eyes. It's a small book and you can read it in an evening, but the contents are very powerful. He talks about viral maketing, co-registration, and turning that list into cash anytime you want. Excellent Book For Internet Marketers

Unless you've been hiding under a rock, you already know that thousands of people are preaching "The Money is in the List." Heck, even some people under a rock may have been hearing it. Well, the truth is that the statement is true. Glenn Hopkins does a great job with Lucrative List Building because he doesn't just tell you the obcvious, but actually explains how to start your own list, even from scratch. So, if you are a newbie to Internet Marketing or a seasoned veteran, you will find something of use in this book and it will easily pay for itself with the tips provided by Glen. I give this book 5 stars and have bought it myself both in print and other editions. It really is that good.
