Luciano's Light: Our Miraculous Journey

My inspiration for writing this book is to help other families with children requiring special care navigate healthcare, the educational setting, and life with greater ease by learning from our wins and losses throughout our personal journey. I am inspired to write this book thanks to my bright light of a blessing son, Luciano Vincent, who was born prematurely on November 25, 2010. His diagnosis is extremely rare, named Rubenstein Taybi Syndrome also called RTS. He is currently 13 years old. I share our authentic and vulnerable journey to help other families become a stronger voice and advocate for their Angel's. I have a healthcare background and scratched my head on so many occasions wondering how other families navigated their child's healthcare, educational, and life journey with little to no information. RTS is very rare and in 2010 we were offered old inaccurate statistics based on a time years ago when children with special needs had less support, advocacy, and more importantly less specialized manual therapies and quality healthcare. 15% of book sales and profits from my medical platform DocTami.com will go towards a nonprofit that we dream to create called "Luciano's Light". The mission of this non-profit is for Luciano and I to collaborate and give back by providing funds, support, and educational awareness. We intend to offer free specialized manual therapy care for children diagnosed with RTS and other chromosomal diagnosis. My message is informational, educational, and offers supportive insight around the abundance of manual therapy options that will help improve your Angel's quality of life and outcomes!
