A quite complete primer.

A wonderful introduction on using Visio 2000. It is very broad and covers the essentials needed to begin. I started creating my own electrical wiring diagrams within three or four hours of study. I of course wanted "Harland's Guide to Creating WDG's with Visio," and this wasn't it, but I am pleased.

Ten Great Lessons

This book is organized by ten lessons that cover all the things the software is capable of doing - flowcharts, organization charts, network diagrams, Ghantt charts, etc.. Ten chapters, each with a ten question quiz. That makes it different from the other Grabowski books. You learn by doing. And it comes with an excellent CD that has the 18 tutorials and files from the ten chapters. I found this approach worked better than the other books that I've seen. This book also has a large font, plenty of white space, and loads of graphics that are well placed and large enough to see - another difference from some of the other books available. Grabowski's book and CD makes this software easy to learn. If you do the lessons, which will not take much time at all, you can confidently say that you "know" Viseo.
