Lürisson

"This eugenics you always talk about, selective breeding and sterilization of the ill and criminal is a rather minimalistic and sad procedure in which the human being is lowered to the level of an animal with controlled impulses, born to breed or lay eggs like machined, caged and grain-stuffed chickens to feed upon like vampires, and be mentally shaped following some people given desire. I would rather abandon this whole love of mine for humanity's sake if I ever manage to live enough to see a near and darkened future fulfilled with people that will design the appearance of their upcoming children just as they order their pizza, assuming some people like one flavor or other. Imagine the baby being delivered just like another good inside a box with a number for a name. I condemn this, and I see it possible, of course, if traditional religious views start to soften and their head figures begin to be seen as mere men and woman, but contrarily to what you people may think, I'm not against those who believe in something superior to themselves, because one of the common traits of any god, regardless of the mythology or culture they belong to, is that their word was law, thus, those who acted in the name of a greater being would automatically be enabled to do justice accordingly. For centuries, religion has held tight millions of criminal minds, going as far as bringing them back to sanity and order, a deed no famous psychologist has ever been capable of, yet they mock the priests and priestesses just because they think they are enabled to do so.Which condemn, I ask you, could surpass that of being chained to a rotating wheel of pain with big flames of fire and sulfur devouring your flesh every day? None. Now, as the criminal mind doesn't fear divine punishment any longer, those who killed faith directly or indirectly need to become intimidating again and bear the responsibility of judging their own kind, so no crime is left unpunished within humanity. Either way, no advertisement would be nearly as effective as fear itself used to be back in the day."
