Opposition agents called L pez Obrador "naco", "indio pata rajada", "populist", "authoritarian", "ignorant", "dictator", "communist", "narco president" and "polarizing", among many other adjectives. These verbalizations were part of the hybrid war against the former chief executive. It was a war that went on for decades. This war continues, now against the new president, Claudia Sheinbaum. She has been called "narco candidate", "Jewess", "ice woman", "without feelings", "liar", "porril", "unruly", "clumsy", "authoritarian", "ridiculous", "arrogant", "communist", "quarrelsome", "fearful" and "AMLO's puppet". All this and more, despite the fact that her administration has just begun. The war will continue because that is the vocation of the opponents. And it will continue until they regain control of the government and power. This paper develops approaches to the understanding of what has been this hybrid war considering its theoretical inspiration, its structural foundation, its conflict dimension, its ideological framework, its practical expression and suggestions to confront it.
