Uncommon good sense

"Loving Your Child" should be in the suitcase a woman packs for her trip to the hospital to give birth. The principles in this lovely little book form a solid foundation for calm and confident motherhood. The chapter on bedtime is priceless. I wish I would have had this absolutely reasonable advice when my children were young and giving me bedtime headaches. Reminding parents of the need of children for consistency in preparation for bed (and in all other matters) as well as the amount of sleep children require, in addition to the valuable information in the rest of the book, Ms. DuBois has provided moms and dads with uncommon good sense.
