When it comes to love, it is very easy for us to love those who love us. Permit me to say it is almost natural to love those who love you and are good to you. However, we all have difficulty is to love those who do not love us. Some people might even see it as self-hate when you ask them to love those who do not love them. Nothing is more fulfilling than having the ability to love everyone, irrespective of their attitude towards you. That is what this book is all about; this book will help you discover how you can live a very happy and less stressful life just by choosing to love everyone irrespective of their skin color, race, gender, or attitude towards you.For us Christians, we have to understand that to love is not a choice but a command. You don't love because those you love are lovable or deserve to be loved. You don't love because you feel like loving, but because you have to love. True love is, loving with the consciousness that those you love might hurt you.Love is not a function of feelings, but a decision you have to make daily. It is a total obedience to the word of God. It is written in the bible, 'love your enemies.' Those were the words of Jesus to His disciples which include you and me today if you are a Christian or follower of Christ. "But I say unto you, love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you"; Mathew 5:44.No one naturally will feel like loving his/her enemy, but it is a decision you have to make, either to obey God or to disobey him. Before you make your decision, remember this, "obedience is better than sacrifice."It is also written; love your neighbor as yourself. You do not have any reason good enough to stop you from loving anyone, no matter what they did. Christ prayed for even those that crucified him. Always know that love is the greatest, and faith works by love. If you love God, then you will love people. God will grant us all the grace to love everyone just as He loves us unconditionally.
