Loving Mummy

Loving Mummy is a snippet of my life as a young black girl in the 1980s growing up with a mother who experienced depression on and off, ultimately falling way to a full nervous break down. With only me, myself and I to make sense out of the nonsense, I lost many things and cried many a tears yet through it all, I unlocked a deeper relationship with myself, a spiritual journey that saw me close doors that were left ajar letting in the cold breeze and opened windows that were nailed shut so some fresh air could come in. By changing my prospective I changed my experience thus giving myself permission to release the contents of my heart and not be afraid. I share my journey to those it makes sense to, to know you are not alone and that the light is, at the end of the tunnel, don't stop looking for it it.
