Let's be transparent for a moment. First, let's dig deeper into the channel of self-reflection. Reflection is mirroring something with deep consideration to carefully bring forth change. At some point, we all have a choice to be totally honest with ourselves. The greatest battle that anyone will ever face is fixing themselves. As much as we try to deny it, we are our own greatest project. The person that stares back at us in the mirror; will take us on journey's unknown. Many believe that self-reflection is all about serenity, meditation, love, compassion, etc. Quite the contrary to be honest. Self-reflection is challenging, ugly, combative, worrisome, and mentally draining. You are on an influx of an up and down rollercoaster when it comes to your emotions. You are fixing all these things that somehow; you've pressed yourself to grown out of. You are doing the groundwork to create good habits and stick to them. Boundaries are now becoming a new normal for you. Things most likely weren't that way prior to. It's a plethora of things combined; mixed with ying and yang vibes. Not all days will be grotesque, but the majority of them will be. Remember, it's a process and a journey. Overall, reflecting on anything in life comes with love, restraint, forgiveness, grace, and so much more. Here's my very own personal journey with my own self-reflection. It was time for me. Your reflective journey is your own personal choice.
