Previously, in "Love's Awakening - The Beginning", a

serious problem Zion felt needed resolving led him to stop

communicating with Lea. As is his usual practice, when he

encounters a problem, he works it out and fixes it. He's never

had to include anyone in his decision making. People followed

his lead and did what he told them.

Lea opened up and gave herself to Zion in a way she's never

given herself to any other man. She told him exactly what she

wanted, needed and desired. And he was all for it.

Their days together were glorious. Their nights were even

better. Then it stopped. She didn't hear from him. She felt

relegated to booty call status.

"I want you, you're mine, and I'm staking my claim. Now, shall

we leave?" he says leaning in for a kiss. "Kitten, I heard the entire

conversation."

She steps away, and he pulls her back into his chest lifting her

chin to look at him.

"Defiant today, aren't we? Keep it up. I'm enjoying this. It

arouses me. As well as you," he says staring into her eyes.

Lea sucks in a deep breath not denying what he said. "Zion-."

He quickly kisses her.
