Loved Before Birth: The Sovereign Election of God

By Alejandro Llanes

Why did God choose His people?

Was it because He foresaw their faith, their good works, or a willingness that distinguished them from others? Or does Scripture direct us to a deeper answer-one rooted entirely in God's sovereign love and gracious purpose?

Loved Before Birth examines the biblical doctrine of unconditional election with clarity, reverence, and a firm commitment to Scripture. From God's choice before the foundation of the world to the relationship between election, faith, holiness, evangelism, and human responsibility, this book addresses the questions that often make this doctrine difficult to understand.

Through careful biblical explanation, Alejandro Llanes shows that election is not based on human merit or a faith produced independently of grace. God chooses according to the purpose of His will, calls His people through the gospel, and transforms those He has chosen into the likeness of Christ.

This doctrine was not revealed to encourage pride, speculation, or indifference. It was revealed to humble the sinner, strengthen assurance, sustain evangelism, produce holiness, and lead the believer to worship.

Loved Before Birth is Book 2 of the Saved by Grace series, a five-book presentation of the doctrines of grace in clear and accessible language.
