Love Your Neighbor as Yourself: Daily Scripture Reflections

The LORD commanded, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself" (Leviticus 19:18). In the Gospels, Jesus reiterated this message as captured by the evangelists in the recording of the Two Greatest Commandments (Matthew 22:34-40; Mark 12:28-34; Luke 10:25-28). From Genesis to Revelation, the Sacred page repeatedly exhorts this theme. It is an ethos of Christianity...it is core to our faith...it is how we are called to live. In the first couple of centuries of Christianity, this communal love of each other differentiated the faith in a pagan world. This was not only unique and alien to the world, but it was also the hallmark of our faith. It is still. We will always be called to this central ethos.

This daily Scripture Reflections work is unlike any other; completely dedicated to the love of our neighbors.
