A GREAT BOOK FOR HOLIDAY REFLECTION
In this short book, the reader is invited to consider the "elf." In this story the elf has been ignored, and he's had enough He goes to a drastic measure to get his "person's" attention He launches himself so that he can be seen He's gotten tired of being "way way up alone."
This colorful and poetic book suggests a way that we can be in touch with our "elf." We need to listen to our "elf." This book presents a fun way to do it. This starts when we are children. Paying attention to the poetic passages helps us listen.
So, in this story, like Humpty Dumpty, the Elf has a great fall But unlike Humpty, the Elf doesn't break into pieces. Instead he gives the man some pieces of his mind in the form of poetry. These poetic pieces are some ways in which "he" can be put back together again. Like Humpty Dumpty, we may feel like we are in pieces. Many fall apart. We can put ourselves back together again if we are in pieces by loving our "elf."
Looking within may be the key to finding the elf. Our elf who is waiting for us. I hope that this book helps you listen to your elf.
One reviewer wrote - "This may be the biggest small book I've ever read."
"Love your elf while you're learning how to help your elf live in the now. from the book.
If we start listening to our "elf" maybe some of our troubles can be solved. That's the hope of this book.
