Although it is written for "dads of all ages," this is a wonderful gift book for anyone interested in the meaning of fatherhood. Each page contains a theme-based title, short reflection by the author, brief quotation, and, get this, a highlighted web address followed by one or two sentences describing the site. Here's how it works. In "Delight," the author says it's okay "to be a little dopey" as you hold your new baby, and experience feelings of responsibility, worry, and awe. "She's a delight. Pure and simple," he writes. Next is a quotation from actress Helen Hayes, whose husband capped his comment on the new baby's virtues with, "She's more beautiful than the Brooklyn Bridge."
