What a funny romance!

This modern-day Cinderella story held my interest from beginning to end. I loved the tart-tongued Cynthia and wept at the childhood of poverty that had killed her dreams. I loved the roguish Peter, who was pretending to be a prince. And the Elvis-impersonator godmother...I mean, godfather...well, he was only icing on the cake. A very enjoyable read by the very talented Ms. Hill.

What a hoot!

This is the most hilarious play on the old Cinderella theme. And the Spanish prince in this story is to die for. I laughed and sighed and wished fairy tales like this really could come true. A great book!

Cynthia, "The Shark" meets P.T. "The Prince of Toad." A very handsome toad, mind you. Together they are combustible and hilarious. Sandra Hill has a way with words. Where did she get such talent? I say, more! More! If you are looking for a book that does not require you to think and analyze, then this is the book for you. Just sit back, relax and prepare to laugh you head off. And oh, make sure you have an apron handy....
