Parenting skills that really work....

I attended Bill's workshop first as a parent and then to become an instructor. Bill's love limits and lessons has not only helped me be a better parent but it has also been incredibly helpful in my own business as a mental health counselor. I am always sharing this valuable information, that I have learned from Bill, with the parents I counsel in my practice. I also suggest they buy his book so they can refer to it when they need to.

Incredible Resource

As a school director, I am regularly in need of resources for parents and the book I most often recommend is Bill Corbett's Love, Limits & Lessons. An excellent guide for parents, teachers, and caregivers, the book is full of practical tips for handling the challenges children throw our way. In addition, the book helps adults understand the behind-the-scenes needs and motivations that cause children to act the way they do.

Practical parenting that makes sense

I have found Bill's techniques and advice given to be both helpful and practical. I have read the book twice now and keep it as my go to guide when a new situation arises with my children. It certanly cuts across all age groups and is a great read. The chapters are short and concise. And well, it all just makes a lot of sense. It's a practical, easy-to-implement parenting guide that really works. Bill goes into detail about why children misbehave and how to prevent and correct misbehaviors. My son and my family are happier and more peaceful than we have ever been since reading this book. Also, as a schoolteacher, I can easily implement these tools into my classes daily. This book is money well spent, and I will refer to it time and time again for help with my children in the teen years because there's always something new coming up with children and teens. I'm glad that this author wrote such a powerful book filled with many discipline tools!
