Speaking of the story, here's a brief summary:

The story begins with Marcos Silva, the director of the supernatural affairs agency, illegally freeing the prisoner Lucas vila from jail because he needed his help to protect his daughter Alice.

Alice is being pursued by the parasites (the Earth invaders) because she is the key to the invasion due to her psychic abilities (she can access memories). During this process, Marcos ends up dying, and Lucas sets out to find his brother Arthur. It doesn't take long for him to find and free Arthur from prison. After that, the two return home to discuss the new world they find themselves in and decide to protect the young woman.

Note: Lucas and Arthur are over 400 years old.

Lucas focuses on protecting Alice and working with the government, while Arthur also protects her and gathers an army to fight against the alien invasion.

As they spend time together, Lucas and Alice develop a romance and begin dating. Arthur, who also spends time with her, falls in love with Alice as well. With the invasion imminent, Alice must decide whether she really wants to be with Lucas or if she prefers Arthur.

The story unfolds with other supernaturals with special abilities appearing around the world, joining forces with Arthur to help in the war.
