Hurricane + Birds = Love?

This book is a sweet love story wrapped up in the sadness of tragedy and a hurricane. My mother loves Galveston, TX and it has been a refuge for her since my dad passed a couple years ago. I will be recommending this book for her since she’s intimately familiar with navigating the loss of a spouse and she feels most at home on Texas’s beaches. The story between Teddy and Jack shows that even in the face of tragedy, something beautiful can take flight. Will they let their love grow? Will they be able to rebuild the habitat for the birds? Will they start a new life together, or will Teddy give up her dream and move back to her boyfriend in Houston?
