After a string of disappointing dates, Sophie Tabor decides to take a dating hiatus. Unfortunately, her co-worker, Megan, doesn't get the memo. Megan, a self-proclaimed matchmaker, arranges a blind date on Sophie's behalf.

With only a vague description of what her date looks like, Sophie commits the ultimate faux pas. She sits down, at the wrong table, with the wrong guy.

Shortly after her blind date mishap, Sophie discovers that the wrong guy is a stand-up comedian. A stand-up comedian who is sharing her humiliating moment with crowds of strangers. He converts her into a punch line, and she hates him for it.

Sophie's new enemy continues to pop up in her life at the most inconvenient times. He's everything she dislikes in a man. He's cocky and brash. And he's determined to win Sophie over.
