Geraldine O. Lloyd, Artist, Author, Activist, was born in Durham, N.C. to generations of tobacco farmers and lobbyists, when she discovered smoking and cancer would be her family legacy. She began her art and writing career at 47, following a divorce and throat cancer. After losing her voice, she took her pain and life experience to the page.
