If life has taught me one thing in the meager twenty-two years
I've been alive, it was that fire is a savage beast, paying no heed to
the lives it tears apart, nor the damage it inflicts both physically and
mentally on its victims. Of course, that's to be expected, since fire is
an inanimate element, and therefore has no reason to care, but that's
beside the point. The point is, while fire might seem harmless when
you light up a candle, or cigarette, there is always the chance of it
spiraling out of control.
