Strange Book--Is it for Real?

I doubt this person ever really knew JM. Sketchy info about when exactly he met MFW. The book is like a Forrest Gump story set in Los Angeles in the mid-60s. Author finds himself at key historic moments of that time period. The ending was quite dramatic, sounds true, but I think it happened with someone else. Not Mary. I would classify this book as fiction.
