Mark Cooper has had enough of the constant turmoil in his home due to the tumultuous relationship with his father, Gorman Cooper, who suffers from PTSD. Gorman's attempt to self medicate has turned into alcoholism. In an attempt to escape his father, Mark finds himself traveling down the same road of addiction. However, his life is changed when his younger brother suffers a life-threatening injury.
